Karaoke-style captions that follow the voice
Clean white text with a black outline, where the word being spoken turns yellow and moves with the voice. The follow-along effect keeps viewers reading instead of scrolling.
Preview and MP4 export share one renderer; what you see here is what exports.

Outline-only styles depend on footage contrast: over very bright, busy footage, switch to the boxed TikTok Pop style or add a background in Layout.
How the word highlight behaves
This is real time-synced highlighting: transcription returns a timestamp for every word, the renderer highlights the word whose start time has passed, and the export bakes the same sweep into the MP4. It is not a static color applied to a random word.
FAQ
Is the karaoke effect really synced to the speech?
Yes, for transcribed captions. Each word carries its own start time from the transcription, and the yellow highlight advances exactly on those timestamps. Manually typed lines (no word timings) use a fixed emphasis instead.
Is this professional karaoke lyric timing?
No. It follows speech transcription timings, which is right for talking videos. Licensed lyric videos with beat-exact timing are a different craft.
